About Membership of Minerals Reporting Australia LTD

Membership of Minerals Reporting Australia LTD (MRA) is a not-for-profit, member organisation that is open to minerals professionals who are involved in the preparation, review, or assurance of public disclosures under the Australian Regulatory Framework for public disclosure of Exploration Results, Mineral Resources, and Ore Reserves (ERMROR).

We are a values-driven and peer-engaged organisation focused on upholding integrity in the public reporting of Exploration Results, Mineral Resources, and Ore Reserves through supportive, constructive peer engagement.

All applications are peer-reviewed to ensure alignment with our purpose and professional expectations.

Membership Classes & Annual Fees

Postnominals

Eligible members may use the following postnominals:

Professional Member: MMRA

Competent Qualified Person Member: CMRA

Fellow: FMRA

Use of postnominals is subject to ongoing membership in good standing and may be withdrawn in cases of misconduct or non-compliance.

Membership Eligibility Criteria

You may be eligible to apply if you:

  • Are an experienced or emerging professional involved in exploration, mineral resource/reserve estimation, mining reporting, or technical disclosure.

  • Are committed to developing or demonstrating competency in ethical and transparent public reporting practices, with a willingness to learn, uphold integrity, and contribute constructively to the minerals reporting profession.

  • Support the principles of continuous disclosure, materiality, and investor-focused reporting.

  • Have reviewed and agree to comply with the MRA Constitution and By-Laws.

  • Accept the MRA Code of Conduct and Peer Review Standards.

  • Agree to participate in MRA-led report reviews and peer review processes in accordance with the MRA Constitution and By-Laws. 

MRA Governance Instruments

Minerals Reporting Australia Ltd is governed by a suite of foundational instruments that guide its purpose, operations, and member responsibilities.
