All MRA members are expected to participate in the collective review of public reports, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Where concerns are raised regarding the technical quality, disclosure practices, or ethical conduct of a public report or its author, a Peer Review Panel (PRP) may be convened. These panels:
-
Are drawn from qualified MRA members
-
Operate under the oversight of the Complaints and Disputes Oversight Committee (CDOC)
-
Conduct structured, fair, and peer-based reviews
-
Emphasise constructive engagement, not punishment
-
Ensure the subject of review is granted a right of reply, in line with natural justice
-
Operate with strict confidentiality, integrity, and impartiality
Where a serious breach is identified after due process, the PRP’s findings are escalated through CDOC to the Board for determination.
